Terms and Conditions
Counselling is a safe space for you to talk about what is important to you
I will work hard to ensure the highest levels of confidentiality. I will not normally share information about what you discuss without your agreement, except when:
1. I believe there is risk of "serious harm to you or others” or unresolved serious case of fraud or crime.
2. I am required by a court of law i.e., child protection under age 18, terrorism or drug trafficking.
3. You agree or request for the confidence to be broken.

Data Protection/Consent abide by the Data Protection laws and the General Data Protection Regulations(GDPR) to keep your personal data safe.Nicola Morley will collect certain data from you to facilitate your therapy and to meet mandatory insurance requirements regarding therapeutic notes and client details.I make brief notes about what is covered in the sessions, the notes are kept separate from your personal details and only ever seen by your counsellor.Your contact details maybe used to inform you about appointments or to pass on information or resources that have been discussed in session.All data is held securely by NicolaMorley. All records and notes will be permanently deleted after 6 years of you finishing counselling. You can ask to see the data held on you at any time by contacting Nicola Morley. I receive regular supervision for their work in accordance with The British Association of Psychotherapist and Counsellors (BACP) Ethical Framework.This may result in me discussing aspects of your situation with mysupervisor to ensure I am working to a high ethical standard and always in your best interests. No information which could identify you will be given to my supervisor.
Other Professional Involvement
It is useful to know if you have any other professional involvement, e.g.,Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) or other counsellor. Also, if you are taking any prescribed drugs that may affect the counselling process.
Insurance and Professional Bodies
I hold insurance, and membership of the BACP and NCPS. I work to their ethical framework.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with the service and you are unable to resolve this with meyou can contact the BACP or the NCPS.
Ending Counselling
1. If we agree your present needs cannot be met by the counselling process thenit may be necessary to refer you to another organisation or agency.
Social Media Policy
Friend requests from current or former clients on any social networking site, e.g.Facebook, LinkedIn, etc., are not accepted.

To ensure your privacy and confidentiality I ask that you do not try to record anyof the sessions. If either of us feels that it would be beneficial to record our sessions, we would need to discuss this to ensure that both our privacies are upheld. There is the small chance that we might lose connection during a session. If the video connection is lost, I will phone you twice to try and connect with you again. During this conversation you might decide to finish the session then or to continue by phone (this will depend on you and and me). If you are having a session by phone and connection is lost me, I will text you and you can decide to continue or end the session.
Unless otherwise agreed, it is your responsibility to contact the counsellor to start the session i.e., you ring the counsellor in telephone counselling or click on the link to connect via video.
Fees
​£70 per 50 minute session.

Payments should be received 48 hours before the day of your session.
Please be punctual, as we will only be able to allow you the remaining time for your session. Your counsellor will wait 15 minutes for you to attend. If you do not contact them the session will be counted as “Did Not Attend” and you will lose that session.
If there is an emergency, please contact me to let me know​.
Cancellation and Puntuality
If we need to cancel an appointment, I will give you 48 hours’ notice and ask youto do the same.
Failure to give 48 hours' notice will count as a session.
Payment
Counselling fees can be made by bank tranfer
